The Return

On September 26, 2020, there was THE RETURN - A National and Global Day of Repentance and Prayer. The main event took place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Messianic Rabbi and author Jonathan Cahn, along with other faith leaders and thousands of Christians, prayed for a turning back to God, for an awakening and revival of not only our nation but the world. On the same day, Franklin Graham led Prayer March 2020. He and others walked from the Lincoln Memorial to the nation's capital while praying for our country and our leaders, asking for God's mercy and help for this nation. Most importantly, they prayed that hearts would turn to God.


What I'm about to show you, what you're about to discover, is how these two separate events are prophetically related and how they were arranged by divine providence and appointment. I'll also reveal something remarkable that is connected to the day, the time, and the message of THE RETURN! It's so miraculous that you can't help but be left in awe of what God can do! It will have you wondering if God is moving in a way never seen before in our nation.



In order to set the stage for what I'm about to show you, I've included the text from Franklin Graham's August 8th announcement of the Prayer March 2020. Hidden within his statement are the first two clues to this true and extraordinary narrative.

"I'm announcing today that on Saturday, September 26, I'm going to be here in our nation's capital to pray - and I hope thousands of families, pastors, and churches will join me! Our nation is in trouble, and we need God's help. Make plans now to come for Prayer March 2020 in Washington, DC."


"Thus the LORD was moved by prayer for the land..." (2 Samuel 24:25).


Text of Instagram video announcement: "I'm in Washington, D.C. today. Twenty-sixth of September, mark that date. Twenty-sixth of September. I'm asking you to come and join me right here on the Mall, Washington, D.C. for the Prayer March 2020. We're going to pray for this nation. Our only hope for this country is God! I hope that you'll join me right here on the twenty-sixth of September, noon. Okay? And we're going to march from one end of this Mall to the other. Take about two hours, but we're going to march and we're going to pray as we go along the way. God bless you! I'll see you here on the Mall, the twenty-sixth of September at noon. Right here, the Lincoln Memorial." - Franklin Graham 8/8/2020


Now that you've heard from Franklin Graham, it's important to remember two things he said: the date and time of the event. The twenty-sixth of September at noon. These two facts don't mean much yet, but they certainly will later. It's only the beginning, the first two pieces of a much larger prophetic puzzle. In order to fully explain what God is doing, I need to briefly take you back two thousand years in history to what the Apostle Paul is recorded as saying. Once you know what Paul said, I'll then start putting everything together.


While Paul was a prisoner, he defended himself before King Agrippa when he made this statement: "For the king knows about these matters, and I speak to him also with confidence, since I am persuaded that none of these things escape his notice; for this has not been done in a corner" (Acts 26:26). The king was well aware of what was being said about Jesus and knew about the gospel message that Paul had been spreading. He knew all this because, as Paul said, "For this has not been done in a corner."


In 1991, while I was working at the Florida Attorney General's Office, there was something I too had said, a message that had not escaped notice. It was just as Paul had said about his own activities. It was not done in a corner! This is when I announced to five of my co-workers when I was going to be married. There was just one problem with my wedding announcement; it occurred months before I met my wife. The complete account of how this was possible and how it miraculously came true is detailed in my earlier posts, Mission Impossible and Mission More Impossible. While this wasn't done in a corner, something else was. And to this, we turn our attention.


If you're new to my blog: The picture you see here amazingly represents the gospel in symbolic form. I saw these symbols during a near-death experience (NDE) when the Holy Spirit told me to, "Look and remember." You can read about it in the post titled, Beyond Believing. I'm now going to build upon my last post, Turn the Corner, with overwhelming evidence confirming that the turning digital clock in the corner represents the first word of the gospel - repent.


In my Mission Impossible post, I wrote about what happened on the morning of December 8, 1990. Only hours had passed since my NDE during which I'd seen the symbols. I had absolutely no clue that exactly one year later, to the day, I would meet my future wife, Sharon. What I did know, even before sunrise, and what I had spent the early morning hours calculating, was when we'd be married.

The digital clock that I'd seen in the corner had a time of 11:21 a.m. I instantly knew by prophetic revelation that I'd be married when the clock reached high-noon, or 12:00 p.m. This meant that only thirty-nine minutes remained. I also knew these weren't actual sixty-second minutes because the clock time would have to be applied to my entire life. Each minute would, in fact, represent approximately sixteen days of my life. When I completed the calculations as provided in my earlier post, all I had to do was count forward 637 days on the calendar to arrive at my wedding date. I determined it was sometime in early September 1992.


Because the clock didn't have a second hand, I knew the exact date could be off as much as sixteen days. It's important to consider that months before I met my wife, I had already told my parents, the pastor from my church, and five co-workers at the Florida Attorney General's Office that I'd be married in September 1992. What I said wasn't done in a corner! Unfortunately, what I said turned out to be wrong. I wasn't married in September as I had predicted, but on October 3, 1992. It wasn't only the wrong month, but it was also outside one minute or sixteen days on the clock. Why was I so close, but not accurate? To fully answer that question will not only reveal a profound truth but will communicate an unmistakable message from God.


Due to several factors, a September wedding, or even one sooner, turned out to be impossible to schedule. When Sharon and I were engaged on February 10, 1992, I had already developed a repetitive stress injury to both of my hands due to computer data entry at work. With the symptoms of an aggravated and inflamed nerve in both hands, a wedding and honeymoon would have to wait until after I had two hand operations.


My first carpal tunnel surgery occurred on May 5, 1992, followed by a second surgery on July 21st. By the time I had fully recovered, a September wedding was not possible at this point. Sharon and I wanted our special day to include all of our family and friends. To make this happen, we ended up pushing the wedding date to October in order to accommodate wedding guests having to take time off from work, arranging their vacations, and traveling to Florida.


When we were married on October 3, 1992, I knew my wedding calculations were wrong and, at first, I had no idea why. I later realized that I should have calculated from my conception date and not my birth date. When I made the correction to when life begins, I was accurately married within one minute on the prophetic clock. What follows are the revised calculations along with a September - October 1992 calendar. I've color coded the timelines for both the birth (black line) and conception (red line) calculations. You'll see the difference and what a difference it makes! The marriage timeline shifts to what is called the Days of Awe, also known as the Days of Repentance.

11,138 days from birth (6/10/60) to NDE date (12/8/90). This includes 7 additional days for leap years. By then adding the 40-week gestation period (40 weeks X 7 = 280 days), the new figure from conception to NDE date is 11,418 days.

The number of minutes on the clock from the beginning of the day up to the 11:21 a.m. was 681 minutes. By dividing the minutes into the days, we have the days per minute: 681 minutes divided into 11,418 days = 16.7665198237 days per minute.

With 39 minutes until the clock reaches 12:00 noon from 11:21 a.m. multiplied by 16.7665198237 days per minute, we get 653.89 days from the 12/8/90 NDE date until the clock reaches 12:00 noon.


The Days of Awe begin on the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Feast of Trumpets. On this day, a ram's horn trumpet called a shofar is sounded. Jonathan Cahn, in his book The Harbinger II: The Return, best explains what the day of sounding trumpets means:


"The sounding of trumpets is one of alarm...a sound that causes trembling. The Feast of Trumpets is a day of alarm, of trembling, of shaking...the day of warning...of the coming judgment. The Feast of Trumpets inaugurates the Ten Days of Awe that lead to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. The Day of Atonement is a shadow of the day when all sin is judged, and all judgement is sealed - a shadow of the Day of Judgment itself. Yom Kippur represents the sealing of judgement, but the Feast of Trumpets represents its beginning. In fact, the day when the trumpets are sounded is also known by the name Yom Ha Din...The Day of Judgement...So the ten days from the Feast of Trumpets to the Day of Atonement are linked to judgement and make up the window of time when, in light of judgement to come, one can still repent and be saved."


"So, the message of the Feast of Trumpets is...Judgement is coming. Prepare to stand before God. Get right. Repent. Do whatever you have to do to get right with God and man. The time is now to turn back and be saved. For the day will come when the time given will have ended...Return."


In Judaism, The Days of Awe are regarded as the High Holy Days and are considered the holiest time of the year. These ten days are specifically set aside for spiritual reflection, repentance, and turning back to God. According to Jewish custom, it's during the Days of Awe that the books of judgement are opened and one's eternal fate, depending on their standing with God, is sealed. The Sabbath that occurs during these Ten Days of Repentance is called Shabbat Shuvah or Shabbat T'shuvah ("Sabbath [of] Return" שבת שובה or "Sabbath [of] Repentance" שבת תשובה). It was on this exact day in 1992, the Sabbath day of return and repentance, that I was married.


Let that last fact sink in for a moment! It's incredible that a turning digital clock that I saw during my NDE prophetically led to my being married on the Sabbath day of return and repentance. The turning clock unmistakably represents repentance, a turning back to God! If you're still not completely convinced, maybe this next astonishing fact will persuade you, because only God could have put all this together! Take a look at the following September's 2020 calendar and specifically the day of the 26th. This was the day of THE RETURN - A National and Global Day of Repentance and Prayer. It was also the day of Shabbat Shuva. It is the Sabbath day of return and repentance. The same Shabbat Shuva on which I was married twenty-eight years earlier. And that's not all...



Franklin Graham's Prayer March 2020 event began at noon on the same day. It was also noon on the prophetic clock when I knew I'd be married. When I finally calculated from conception to accurately determine when noon would occur, it unmistakably led to the Days of Awe, to Shabbat Shuvah, and to the window of time when I was married. Now fast forward from 1990 to 2020, and isn't it incredible that a National and Global Day of Repentance and Prayer, along with a Prayer March, both happened in our nation's capital on the same exact prophetic day? All of these events, all of these pieces, are coming together to show not only the prophetic time but also where we are on the prophetic calendar. The trumpets are sounding for the Feast of Trumpets, and the Day of Judgement is approaching. We are literally living in the Days of Awe! A final window of time to repent and turn back to God before it's too late!


This "window of time" is substantiated by what I saw during my NDE when the Holy Spirit showed me a rocket blasting off from a window sill. This was no fluke of the imagination. It is symbolically strategic because it purposefully combined the rocket and window into what is called a launch window. A launch window is a period of time during which a rocket must be launched in order to reach its intended target. A launch window is a window of time! It is, again, a final window of time to repent and turn back to God before it's too late!


This same window of time also applies to our entire nation. Consider the following two presidential proclamations as an example of the way things once were, and how far our nation has now turned away from God as our foundation. They are both dated October 3rd, the same day in October as my wedding. It was October 3, 1789, when George Washington issued the first Thanksgiving Proclamation. He begins by stating: "Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor." Then on October 3, 1863, at the height of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln made a Thanksgiving Proclamation and designated Thanksgiving as a national holiday.


These two Thanksgiving proclamations set a special day apart for the entire nation to observe "a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens." Thinking about the proclamations reminded me of what I wrote about in my March 29, 2019 post titled, Back to the Future. I had taken a trip back to New England to visit Plymouth, Massachusetts. I wanted to see for myself where eight of my ancestral family members arrived as passengers on the Mayflower. Unfortunately, almost half of the Pilgrims tragically died during the first winter, including four of my family members. Two of the four that did survive were my 9th great-grandparents, John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. In the painting further below, you can see the Pilgrims thanking God while celebrating their first bountiful harvest along with their Wampanoag neighbors.


It was John Howland, along with other men on board the ship, who signed the Mayflower Compact, which plainly states: "Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country." Their intent for settling this land couldn't have been any clearer. It was for the Glory of God! It was this foundation of faith, a foundation stone, upon which a nation would be built. A faith in God that recognized these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.


We the people recognized and affirmed that we were one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Because of this acknowledgment and reliance on God, our nation was built on a strong foundation of faith to become a shining city on a hill to all the world. This November 2020 marks the four hundredth anniversary of the Pilgrims landing.

Besides these two connections, there is a third Presidential proclamation that also occurred on October 3rd. This one specifically applies to marriage and has a providential relatedness due to the fact that it was signed by my very distant cousin, who is also descended from Mayflower passengers John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley.


On October 3, 2003, President George W. Bush issued a proclamation for Marriage Protection Week. It stated that marriage is a sacred institution and affirmed the biblical definition of marriage as a union between a man and a woman. In the years following this proclamation, our nation has further turned away from God, turned away from the Word of God, and the results are clearly evident by how far we have fallen. It makes THE RETURN - A National and Global Day of Repentance and Prayer on September 26, 2020, that much more important. It's time for our nation to turn back to God!


I hope you can see from what I've shown you so far that only God Himself could have put all this together. The turning of the digital clock, as shown to me by the Holy Spirit during my NDE, does, without a doubt, represent repentance and turning back to God. We need to return to Him not only by faith as individuals but also as an entire nation. If you're still not completely persuaded, I'm praying that my next post will finally convince you. It's here that I’ll show you that on the one-year anniversary of a national tragedy, an entire state of our union gathered for a moment of silence to pray, reflect, and mourn. This occurred at exactly 11:21 a.m. This is the exact same time as what was on the face of the turning digital clock that I saw almost nine year earlier.


Two thousand years have passed since Jesus said, "...Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17). His words are timelier than ever!


"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

"Therefore tell the people: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Return to me,' declares the LORD Almighty, and 'I will return to you'" (Zachariah 1:3).
